Cody Jackson

Hello, I'm Cody Jackson, Owner & Founder of Jacksonn Built Pty Ltd. I am 25 years old & this is my story.

I started my carpentry apprenticeship at just 14 years old, learning the trade alongside my father. From there, I went on to complete my apprenticeship in Goondiwindi, QLD, working under Cam Makim & Tony Carter at Makim Carter Builders.

Driven to keep pushing forward, I completed my Certificate IV in Building & Construction before turning 21. At 19 years old, I stepped out on my own, subcontracting under my ABN. In 2022, Jacksonn Built Pty Ltd was officially established — and I've now been building, creating, and growing in this industry for over 7 years.

Jacksonn Built is built on simple values: hard work, honesty, reliability, presentation, and quality workmanship. I strongly believe that a clean environment, both mentally and physically, creates better outcomes, stronger teams, and better workmanship.

I've grown up in rural Australia, which is why I have a real passion for rural and remote projects, particularly farm work. It's an environment I understand, respect, and genuinely enjoy working in. I also love renovations — taking tired spaces or ageing structures and bringing them back to life with quality craftsmanship built to last.

If you're looking for a builder who values communication, workmanship, and getting the job done properly the first time, Jacksonn Built Pty Ltd is ready for your next project.

Mac

Meet Mac — a 27 year old qualified carpenter from New Zealand.

My journey in construction started young, learning alongside my dad at home before spending weekends and school holidays on building sites with my uncle from the age of 14. What started as early exposure quickly became a genuine passion, leading me into my carpentry apprenticeship.

After beginning in residential construction, I soon found myself wanting more variety and a stronger connection to practical, hands on building. Moving into rural construction gave me exactly that — helping shape not only my skills as a carpenter, but also my values around hard work, teamwork, and doing quality work that lasts.

Earlier this year, I made the move to Australia to join Jacksonn Built and continue growing in the trade. Rural life has always felt like the right fit for me — the lifestyle, the work, and the people. It's where I'm most comfortable and where I do my best work.

Outside of work, I enjoy hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and spending time with mates and family. Proud to be part of the Jacksonn Built team.

Emma

Emma keeps the whole show running behind the scenes — scheduling, client updates, contracts and the small things that make a big build feel effortless.

If Cody's on the tools, Emma's on the phone. She's often the first voice you'll hear from Jacksonn Built, and the person keeping every job moving from quote to handover.

How we work

Four things we don't compromise on

01

Show up

The first rule of building in the bush: turn up when you say you will. Every time.

Non-negotiable

02

Price it straight

Fixed-price contracts, transparent allowances, no surprise invoices halfway through.

Non-negotiable

03

Build it once

Details done right the first time — because callbacks cost everyone, especially you.

Non-negotiable

04

Know the country

Black soil, big heat, long distances. We build for the conditions we live in.

Non-negotiable
